The Association is poised for a huge year in 2016. Elections are finishing up at the time of this article and the new board has an aggressive agenda for all of the activities for this year.
The Learning Academy will have its most aggressive line up of presentation yet. There will be a Techno Series on Fiery all throughout 2016. New presentations on QuickBooks, Publisher, Marketing Initiatives, and communication will highlight a jam packed 2016.
The Association will launch its first Corporate Plus Account. The Association will partner with a national Vendor Select Participant to not only drive new customers into member stores but offer sales fees for members participating in the program. New revenue will come from Corporate Plus Account participants using our services along with commission payments for support services.
There will be new insurance offerings in 2016 as well. AFLAC will be updating the program designed specifically for Members of The National TUPSSO Franchise Owners Association. There will also be a program for participating members through the Coalition of Franchise Owners Association.
This year will be The Association’s second National Reception for members of The Association. This will give other The UPS Store Owners the opportunity to learn about The Association; meet our members; see our programs first hand and have a little fun along the way. There will loads of giveaways, vendor presentations, food and beverages, and other Association activities.
New marketing programs will be introduced to help drive the Mailbox Services, Shredding, and Scanning profit centers with the focus on identity theft protection. The Mailbox Application Kit will be updated to capture never before offered customer payment options. New sales opportunities will be presented to generate revenue through the stores Bridgeline Digital Website. New program services are also being tested for Valet Plus, the next level of World Class Customer Service.
Cost cutting will be on the top of The Associations agenda as always. New tests are being conducted for a plug in energy conversion system to significantly reduce the upfront costs of the Energy Plus Program. This will help members save thousands per year while requiring very little to get the program set up with the latest technology.
